Here at Middleton House we regularly open our doors to the local community, giving people the chance to see what its like to live at an Abbeyfield House. We have created Sharing Sundays which gives guests the opportunity to join us for a delicious Sunday lunch.
There is always plenty to do here, with a warm and friendly atmosphere everyone enjoys getting together for activities and events. There are regular coffee mornings and outings, a monthly calendar of activities which includes film nights, painting classes and beetle drives.
A Holy Communion service is held monthly with larger events such as summer BBQs and cream teas are arranged throughout the year. All organised by the residents, staff and a team of volunteers.

Meet the team
I joined Abbeyfield in 2013 as a General Assistant, shortly after I took on the role as a Housekeeper and then Senior House Manager in 2017. I support four houses at Abbeyfield which I really enjoy as I have a lot of residents that I can spend time with. In my spare time I like to crochet or do some diamond painting and I love spending time with my family.
