Located in the picturesque neighbourhood of Hampstead Garden Suburb, Abbeyfield House offers a secure, kind and caring environment for residents who wish to live an independent lifestyle with support from a considerate, dedicated and thoughtful team.

Originally a children’s home, this charming Edwardian property became an Abbeyfield House in 1977 and comprises of 11 rooms all of which have en-suite facilities and kitchenettes. Each of our rooms comes unfurnished, allowing you to bring your own furniture, and personalise it to your own taste and make it feel like home.

Abbeyfield House was renovated in 2012 and many of the original features can still be seen; combining the elegance and sophistication of the past with convenience and contemporary commodities of today.

We’re in an excellent location, with Highgate to the west and Golders Green to the east, and very good transport links. Brent Cross shopping centre is just a short bus ride away, where you’ll find a wide and varied selection of over 120 shops as well as a varied range of cafes, restaurants and bars. Locally we have a number of restaurants, bars and supermarkets, bakery and churches that are within walking distance.

Our beautiful, matured garden, which leads onto Hampstead Heath Park, provides the perfect place to spend a quiet moment, catch up with family and friends, or read a book. We provide the lunch and dinner, served in our communal lounge, a great place to come together and find companionship from other residents.

This property is managed by The Abbeyfield Society trading as Abbeyfield Living Society.
