Hoylake & West Kirby Society Ltd

As with all Abbeyfield Societies, the Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby Society is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making the lives of the older people easier and more fulfilling.

We help people to live independently by providing a range of services, all of which are linked to the local community.

Established in 1964 Lear House is situated just outside the centre of the village of West Kirby and in Hoylake, on the south coast of the beautiful Wirral Peninsula. 

Elliot House is an annex to Lear House (registered with CQC) but it is also proving to be very popular for people seeking respite care, the homely atmosphere of Elliot House lends itself particularly well for this. 

We are very close to bus and rail services which means getting to and from the houses is very easy, particularly for visitors, a good variety of shops and cafes and also close to a magnificent coast line with a very good promenade – excellent for getting out and enjoying the sunshine and sea air.

Being part of the local community is very important to us and our residents, and we aim to source all of our suppliers locally, particularly for food and beverages.

It is essential that Abbeyfield feels like home and offers home comforts to suit all resident’s needs. Families are welcome at any time and we will always try to accommodate furniture and special requests if possible. Our Chefs offer a high standard of cuisine, and are able to cater for specific dietary requirements.

We also take care of the small things such as having your morning coffee in the garden or having some peace in the lounge to watch a favourite TV show.
