At Abbeyfield Northallerton CIO we offer a friendly and caring family environment at our sheltered home, Fir Lodge. We are here to help residents remain independent and being small, it gives us a chance to know residents and their individual needs and so provide support where needed. Just open the front door - there is always a welcoming atmosphere.
Our beautiful Victorian house is convenient for the High Street of this lively county town of North Yorkshire, so residents can stay involved in the local community. Adjacent to Northallerton High Street, it's within easy walking distance which helps residents take advantage of the many facilities of this market town. The house offers sheltered housing and has been carefully adapted and extended and is maintained and tastefully appointed to a very high standard to provide accommodation for 12 residents.
We are in a very central location within Northallerton, with the house less than 150 yards from the town centre where you'll find shops, bus stops, Post Office and library. We are also adjacent to the town's bowling and social club.
