Find out who triumphed in the first of our Christmas competitions!
The Festive Decoration Challenge is always a highlight of our Christmas campaign, where we encourage all our houses and homes to give themselves a bit of extra shine with a bit of tinsel, a little glitter and heaps of Christmas spirit!
We had a huge number of entries this year and we want to thank everyone who made the effort, especially at the moment when we are all a bit short of time. The quality this year is as high as ever.
Our winners in seven different categories are:
Best Tree Award
David Gresham House, from the Abbeyfield North Downs Society (Oxted, Surrey)
Residents, staff and volunteers all played a part in knitting some fantastic decoration for the tree at David Gresham House. A truly collaborative effort!

Community Engagement Award: Abbeyfield House, Cirencester (Gloucestershire Society)
Abbeyfield House in Cirencester enlisted the help of the Chesterton Primary School, whose pupils donated these drawings for their window.
Thank you to all our residents, staff and members of the community who helped to create these and all the wonderful decorations that were entered into our competition. What talented people we have in our Abbeyfield Family!
